here's what we do

We like to stay busy at SAU BCM! There is always something going on, from on-campus events to mission trips. Ultimately, everything we do is about building genuine community and following Christ. Here are the best ways to find your people and get involved!

BCM WEEKLY

Join us on Tuesday nights at 6:30 for BCM WEEKLY. Every week, we share a meal together and enjoy a worship service. Also, every first BCM WEEKLY of the month is followed by NGHTSHFT, a fun late night event! BCM WEEKLY is a great way to connect with other students, make lasting friends, and grow spiritually.

D-Groups

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) commands us to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe that the discipleship process is fundamental to the Christian's growth. To achieve this, we organize Discipleship Groups (or D-Groups), small groups of 3-5 students who meet weekly to encourage each other.

Student Leadership

The BCM is a student-led ministry under the guidance of BCM staff. Our mission is to connect with, develop, and invest in our students to prepare them to become capable leaders in the church. Student Leadership provides students with an environment to learn new talents and skills and gain practical experience.

There are a lot of opportunities in college; why should you come to BCM? Here are a few thoughts from students who have gotten involved.

I attended the BCM from 2023-2025! When I first started attending I was shy and didn’t have many friends. By my senior year I was leading my own D-Group and involved in the leadership teams! I was pushed by other leaders to go outside of my comfort zone. The BCM helped me become a bolder and more outgoing Christian. And along the way I made so many lifelong friendships! I have so many memories from the BCM that I will hold close to my heart. TYJ FOR THE BCM!!!!

From leading worship and small groups to serving others on and off campus, BCM was always a place of refuge and growth in equal measure. Lasting friendships were made that have flourished beyond our college years, and, of course, we also found each other! The memories made and spiritual growth that happened during our four years in the BCM are priceless and we will always be grateful for them.

The Lord used the BCM and Robert Pinkston and Ben Phillips to take me from a path that was drifting from His purpose for me, and redirect me into the center of His will, which led me into His ministry as a youth pastor, then a BCM director, and today as a pastor!

When I started attending the BCM, my life was completely changed.
